Welcome to The Mindful Nomad:

My Journey from Healing to Handmade Living

Hey there, and welcome!
I’m so glad you’ve landed here. I’m the creator behind The Mindful Nomad—a space where sustainability meets soul, and healing is homemade.

This blog was born from lived experience—deep, raw, and real. I’ve come through toxic relationships, navigated mental health struggles, and learned how to breathe again without the aid of medication. I’ve built my own home on wheels and travelled solo around Europe. I’ve rescued and trained dogs that others called “impossible.” I’ve stitched my life back together with crafts, nature, yoga, music, mindfulness, meditation and the stubborn kind of hope that grows even in the cracks.

🌿 Why This Blog Exists

I believe we’re all craving more authenticity, creativity, and connection—not just with others, but with the Earth, with animals, and with our own selves.
This blog is my offering. Here you’ll find:

  • ✂️ DIY Crafts and Upcycled Projects
  • 🥕 Vegetarian Recipes that are van-life and planet friendly
  • 🐾 Natural Dog Training and holistic care tips
  • 🧘 Mindfulness Tools like journaling, meditation, yoga
  • 🧪 Homemade Remedies from plants and natural sources
  • 🚐 Musings on sustainable, nomadic living

It’s not perfect, polished, or commercial. It’s real. Like you. Like me.

🛠️ From Surviving to Creating

For a long time, I didn’t feel at home—anywhere. Not in relationships, not in my mind, not even in my own body.
I know what it’s like to feel lost. But I also know the power of creation: making something with your hands, calming your dog with your energy, healing your thoughts one breath at a time.

And now, The Mindful Nomad is my little home on the web—a place for people who want to live more lightly and love more deeply.

📌 What You Can Expect

I’ll be posting every week, starting with:

  • A guide to starting your own upcycling projects using what you already have
  • A look at my favorite mental health rituals (totally medication-free)
  • My best dog training mindset hacks that actually work (especially with reactive or rescue pups)

If any of that sounds like your kind of medicine, stay a while.
